matrix 1984 starbucks batman barbie lighting milhouse  starwars the lego movie uses intertextuality to represent different members of the family target audience. the film  is rated a U which connotes the primary target audience is younger children while the secondary target audience is teenagers , parents and grandparents. the intertextuality that children would relate to is batman barbie for teenagers it would be batman starwars starbucks and for adults starwars starbucks and other characters from older shows and films
