L/O: to explore how the BBC is regulated. The radio industry is regulated by Ofcom, who also cover the TV industry. Ofcom's duty is to examine complaints made against radio stations, to determine if the broadcasting code has been reached. in the united kingdom, the term "public service broadcasting" refers to broadcasting intended for public benefit rather than to serve purely commercial interests. The communications regulator Ofcom requires that certain television and radio broadcasters.  1.how many NATIONAL radio stations do the BBC operate? 11 2.how many REGIONAL radio stations do they operate? 40 3.how are they funded?  tv licences  The radio 1 audience is clearly addressed by presenters that are close to the age of their main listeners demographic of 15-29  year olds and it should also provide some programming for younger teenagers.

costume and props: suits with vests, big chains, fedoras, sunglasses looks a bit like mafia. older cars lightning and colour: high-key lighting = upbeat mood, happiness, lively performance: low camera angles,  bouncy body language, dancing around and happy expression setting: in the street, polishing shoes, hair dressers and at the end a club. in up town funk bruno mars uses media language and shows of his jewellery to show his celebrity status and how rich he is he does this with how he uses all the teqniquesb such as costumes lighting performance and setting .

lo: to revise what  mise-en-sceneis, and to see how it is used effectively in music videos. mise-en-scene:setting, costume, props, lighting, hair and make-up, colour, performance(positioning, facial expressions, body language) high-key lighting: quick and easy, minimal shadows and lights up the face. low-key lighting:  harder to set up used for drama and actions lots more shadows.
