1960s in then 1960s they feared tv and radio would take there business  in 1965 newspaper circulation figures by 25 million  that was 1.4 newspapers per house hold which was down on the 1950s when 2 papers per households  2010s circulation in 2010 fell to 10 million (0.4 per household) radio tv and the internet has caused this fall in circulation figures
